Department Profile:

The IT Systems and Application Support Administrator will report to the CTO and will be responsible to monitor the performance of the Bank’s IT systems and infrastructure, including maintenance and upgrades of core systems, and will provide support to the Bank’s employees to solve their daily technical issues with software

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day IT support across all departments, branches and subsidiaries of the company
  • Perform maintenance of IT systems (application support) both onsite and remotely
  • Monitor IT performance and security metrics
  • Liaise with 3rd party IT infrastructure providers to solve issues or manage upgrade/install
  • Follow up of tickets entered into the tracking system (GLPi)
  • Enquire and report IT-related incidents in the incident management tool
  • Develop training materials and procedures, as well as give training sessions
  • Weekend on-call support might occasionally be required

Skills required:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Windows 2012 R2 and VMware vSphere infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux operating systems
  • Hands on working experience in implementing and maintaining infrastructure of an Enterprise Data Center using VMWare
  • Cybersecurity training and good practices for system administrator
  • Good communication skills to include documentation of IT procedures
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in English
