About the role:
Our Maintenance Planning & Scheduling team is diverse and specialised, responsible for optimising our key asset maintenance and management activities. You will ensure Genesis' generation assets meet business plan requirements, whilst coordinating and developing work schedules, all while managing various stakeholder expectations.
To support continued operations at Huntly Power Station, we are looking for an experienced Scheduler, to take on Maintenance Scheduling activities across site. This role is suited to someone who understands modern maintenance operations in a industry or environment. This person can seamlessly work with site crews, team leaders, and operations to effectively and efficiently schedule maintenance activities, maintain our CMMS (Maintenance Management System) and support our Maintenance Planners.
Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with site crews to coordinate resources and work-streams accordingly
- Use specialist Scheduling skill set to produce weekly schedules for all work groups across site
- Optimise internal and external resource use to meet asset management requirements
- Review/audit and update completed work orders and job plans, monitor outstanding purchasing and prepare relevant documentation for execution
- Maintain and update essential data in the CMM system
- Build strong relationships with team leaders, maintenance planners, and operations
About you:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in data management
- Intermediate to advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with plant maintenance or operations, including coordination or project management
- A mechanical or electrical trade background is an advantage, but not essential
Ideally, you'll have used Maximo or something similar. You will be a natural communicator, with a solid understanding of modern maintenance processes and practices.
